This peaceful time the magic brings to ages come at last
prepared by countless Christmas celebrations in the past
That took us to this Dawn of Ages wherein now we stand
to reconcile the Universe - it is all in our hands


We will not execute this task by standing on our rights
or sing religious incantations through an endless night
Call upon a board of mages to perform our rites
or start another war and fight for peace with all our might


Of course I had my plans in life to realise my dreams
and went through lots of challenges with due success it seems
But many were the times when I met angels on my way
who only just prevented me from being led astray


So let me only understand what's hidden in your heart
that I can drop my schemes and expectations from the start
To share with you, to live with you, to give you of my light
in so far you need from me when you are by my side


This may be a sacrifice, to give up all my strife
that I would dare to lose myself in the ocean of life
But I need you, and you need me to reap what we have sown
There's none of us who can fulfill life's purpose on their own


Now suddenly it dawns upon me what may be our way
That life can only be preserved by giving it away
To turn into an offering for others day by day
And thus encounter God in humans like the scriptures say


Then each of us becomes the Christ; this is our final aim:
to turn this broken world into a paradise again
And consequently we are now of divine origin
for we were born on Christmas Day, that's where it will begin.
